K-pop group TVXQ's new single and DVD have topped Japan's Oricon weekly charts, according to their agency on Tuesday."COLOR~Melody and Harmony~", a project single by members Hero Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun which topped the Oricon daily single sales on the day of its release with over 100,000 copies sold, also took first place on the weekly charts, SM Entertainment said in a press release.
The DVD of TVXQ's Tokyo Dome concert also took the No. 1 spot for weekly sales. The concert was the last of the performances of the "TVXQ 4th LIVE TOUR 2009 - The Secret Code" held in July.
TVXQ, a five-member boy band, has been one of South Korea's most successful idol groups since their debut in 2003. The group has currently stopped all their official activities due to a lawsuit against SM Entertainment by three of the members, Hero, Micky and Xiah.
